These beautiful tiles were popular among the Peranakan and have been commonly used in the early 20th century to decorate buildings and interior space to represent wealth and affluence. Let’s slow down and take a step back to observe the beauty that lies in its intricate details, and learn to paint these beautiful tiles with watercolour step by step. Bring back with you a special piece of history created by you.
